Fascinating! Can't say I have seen this before. Is it a well-kept secret? Looks like the sort of thing that should be a tourist attraction, but on the other hand, it would be a shame if too may people tramped to see it, and it got spoilt. Lovely photo's once more imac.
I was thinking about this tree seat again. I bet I passed by it all the time and never noticed it as a tree. It must have been a magnificent one too but how lovely that they have recycled it as they did, because it's still there only recycled.

Very interesting!I liked it a lot!But I think it is a kind of "art"not properly made to be a bench!

Can't wait to hear this one.
I have heard about it but didn't know about when we were down there so didn't see it.
The photos are fascinating. I can hardly wait to learn the story behind this tree.
This must be the most original bench(?) ever made - at least as I have ever seen. I hope they had polished it before you tried it... :-)
Wow, my old home town. I wonder how old this is? Can't wait to hear the story of this beautifully carved old tree. Great photos!
