To bring photos from my minds eye - to the public through the lens of my Nikon D90 ∧ D80
You know I have to enlarge...the droplets....the wave turning back on itself....'crystal-like"..the adjective that I first think of when I see these...
That is amazing. An excellent subject and use of b&w.
It's funny how a picture can have such a different feeling when B/W. This wave has almost an ominous feeling, it doesn't make me want to frolic in it, like the wave with lovely colors.Regardless...it's a stunning picture with wonderful detail.Sunny :)
A wonderful sight, never to be repeated the same again. That's it with water, clouds, sand, all unique.Love the Pixie trail, can't wait to see one!Love Granny
Wonderful photographs :)
An excellent capture and, at least in my opinion, converting it to B & W gave it a fresh, crystal like look.
Hi Stewart - a quick critique as requested.Great composition, nice frozen action. As to the b/w conversion, on my monitor, I've lost all tonal detail in the dark triangular shadow of the wave-top on the left. It's too much a part of the shot to be pure black.Good to see you having a go - it's the way you get better!
