HEADER CHALLENGE
19-11-14
Waves by Mac

Listen to my Waves song, as you ride with my photos of WAVES.

I remember when I went to the infant school
our teacher asked the class to write  a few lines of poetry on the Sea-(ocean)
all I can remember is the first 2 lines, which set off the whole class in fits of laughter.

The Sea is a cruel and deadly creature,
Last week it claimed our Preacher.

Enuf, settle down folks.
Lets get these waves Rolling

My Header
Its not often you can capture a wave from this angle.
I was flat on the ground of the walkway Jetty out to sea, where you get on the boats for trips, trying hard to capture a wave as it rolls in on the Arc. multi shots of about 15, and on the 10th, I captured this.
Now for some waves of delight.
Playing in the Seas
  Crazee folk fully dressed

Poor lad - caught from behind - standing on the runway of the Lifeboat station as a wave broke from the other side.

Ride em Cowboy

The swell of the waves

High tide  -   one of the places where you can get wet.

Here she comes - wait for it

Windy day for the spray

Fast speed on this one to capture the shapes as the waves reach out to me, also a splash of colour too

The seas lips - waiting for a kiss!
Double header on this wave, as she comes crashing in

CRASH -  a spray of delight - and I never got wet.

And finally The Big One
Taken from our holiday cottage window with my 300mm lens.

Im all washed out now
Thats all my friends
Pop over to my side bar - near my shield and see what the other HEADBANGERS  have shown for my Waves theme.

GOOD LUCK

All I can say is "Oh WOW!"
Splendid captures of the mighty ocean as it reaches the shore.
Love all of these photos.
I can picture you crouching to capture that first shot. What we go through to get the shot, eh!
Hugs,
J.
