I had never noticed swans dirty heads and necks until recently, from all the time they spend diving into dirty water. That said, I like the in photo a lot.
Oh, the swans have such a sweet memory for me. You see, my sister passed away a year ago next week. The last thing she saw, were beautiful swans swimming on the river outside her window. She was so at peace. The thing is, it was a freezing cold Feb. day in north WI, the river frozen over, no swans in sight, but SHE saw them...so Thank You Mac, for warming my heart this morning, as she is always on my mind. your photos are lovely.
