Come - Lets take a stroll through Millers Dale in Derbyshire.

Millers Dale Viaduct Bridge(railway used to run over the top)Spans the River Wye and the road. After parking the car , we cross a little wooden bridge to access the pathway to the river Wye.
Passing a small stream - I couldnt resist to photograph the tree reflectins.

Plus these wild Flowers?? Anyone know what they are??

At last, we reach the river Wye, we cross over to reach the small roadway which we will trek along.

To be continued......
Dont forget to click and enlarge to enjoy.

Oh yeah, forgot to answer your question... Wife Swap is a TV show where the wives trade places and live with a different family for two weeks. One of these families is from a town close to us. We know the family and a lot of us are planning to watch Wife Swap tonight on ABC at 8 pm.

The mystery flower seems to be a butterbur of some sort...I use this key: http://www.botanicalkeys.co.uk/flora/content/SEARCH.ASP

It really is a beautiful part of England.. Jane and I love this area, and driving some of the back roads and green lanes in our favourite passtime.

I am so happy you and Julie had a great time here and sorry I could not make the 'met up;..

One of my favourite walks. Across the old bridge an around in a circle. Then lunch at the pub (can't remember the name) near the top.

Thanks for sharing-nice to see in my adopted tropical home.

I have always thought those viaducts were amazing pieces of engineering considering the time they were built in. Lovely photos, have no clue what your wildflower is but it is extremely interesting and very pretty. Just read from Kitty that it may be a butterbur. Never heard of it so I will do what I always do, investigate further :) Thank you for posting such lovely photographs. It has been a wonderful arm-chair adventure.
