Those are BEAUTIFUL! Amazing how the fence just seems to disappear in the second photo. My grandfather always used to say, "Red sky at night..." (I think it's a pretty universal saying). =)
Two great shots Imac... We've had bright blue skies today.. What a differance to last week. This weather is weird at the moment and by reading other blogs we are not on our own. Catch you tomorrow. I'm off to bed now.
Great comparison and beautiful photos. My Sony has a 'nightframing' setting which uses a flash and creates some great sunset photos. I'll miss that feature when I get my Canon.
Each is beautiful in its own way. I was still trying to catch up with ABC Wed. and got to comment on this one also at the same time. (Just 20 more to go from Wednesday!)
The flash photo makes the sky colours quite different, and it has an almost surreal look. The second has beautiful silhouettes, and I'm a sucker for those! Beautiful illustration of the difference technique makes.
I love the second shot better, i like using my camera without a flash i take much better photo using the natural light..;) Love the look of the sky very colorful..;)
I love the comparison shots. Usually, if I use the flash on sunrise/sunset pics, it tends to leach the colours out, but you've had no such trouble - your skills are obviously greater than mine :).

Hard to decide which one I like better...Awesome...mine will be up on our Friday,
Imac, Oh they are awesome.
I will try this! I want a pink sky too.
I like them both!!
Both are beautiful! I couldn't decide which I liked best.
I'm adding your name to Mr. Linky.
And the two are splendid.
The colours in the sky impressively!
I like them both, big difference though in each.
Interesting, the effect of the flash on the pink in the sky. These are wonderful. So festive!
wow! Beautiful color.
BEAUTIFUL. I love the mix of pink and blue! Great catch!
Oh, I love this time of morning! You've captured it perfectly.
They are both beautiful. Great shots.
Ooh. That's tough. I like them both, but the one with flash really made the colors in the sky pop!
like the difference in each one.

Sky watch friday lesson! Good to know and it is smart to take a few photo to find the perfect picture!
all great combination color ;)
Will you visit my Sky Watch #2 Thanks.
I like both of them. :)
Nice colours.
I would have dropped the flash in this setting at once.
"Half-power" if I for some reason wanted a detail in the foreground.
A neat example!
I looooooove it!!!!!! Beautiful!:)
Fantastic, even I prefer the flash one, both of them are excellent. well done
I love the photo without flash!
The SkyWatch without the flash was the one I liked best.
With flash is best. Makes more life into the photo
Hi Imac
Both thses photos are stunning, I wouldn't like to have to choose between them!
Er, sorry about the spelling!
An interesting comparison....I think I like the first the best.
At least the sun's coming out. It does make a great deal of difference to photography.
Thanks for your continued visits and comments.

that sky is very impressive.
I like the without flash photo better.... Beautiful!
Two totally different effects! The purple adds so much to the beauty of the photos! Thank you for sharing! :)
I so dislike using a flash that I found a way to fiddle with the ISO .. these are wonderful examples of how light changes everything
Wow! Beautiful sky.
Interesting----I have never thought of using the flash on a sunset or sunrise. I may have to. great pictures anyway you look at it. MB
Gorgeous sky. The colors are spectacular. I like it with the flash.
awesome purple majesty i love when I can catch such natural beauty
Takes the breath away imac!
Wow! I suppose the *purist* would say, without flash. But they are both beautiful.

I love the second shot better, i like using my camera without a flash i take much better photo using the natural light..;) Love the look of the sky very colorful..;)
It is more natural without the flash, but the flash shot has some of the most awesome colors. Both are great!

Second shot gets my vote, maestro - but you knew I would say that!
I love them both! Awesome shots Imac!!
Wow. The colors! They are just so stunning! I hope you don't want me to say which I prefer because that is impossible.
wow. you just demonstrated the science of light much better than my professors did. great sky shots!!
Hard to decide which one I like best.
I like them both, but the one with the flash best.
I love how modern cameras have such sophisticated flash so that both the foreground and background are properly lit.
