I have a feeling you can be a bit impish, too ;-)

PS The photo was great!

Is Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln? I assume all the people living there know where Lincoln got its name?

That little imp has quite a background! Great picture, especially enlarged.

Aren't Lincoln City FC called the imps??

It all makes sense now. That imp looks a cheeky fella - nice shot :o)

I like to see freedom and creativity in artistic expression, but sometimes it lends itself to fodder for legends and poor theology. I want to agree with the author of the link you provided and say that it has no didactic purpose, except that that this stone creature bears an amazing resemblance to my little brothers. ;-)

Thanks for sharing the interesting pic and story.

When I read the title I thought you were referring to yourself! These are interesting stories and you got a great picture. He does look as if he is capable of mischief.
