Header Challenge 09-01-13 = LINEN by Sandy

LINEN is this weeks Header Challenge by Sandy.

My music is by By Debussy playing = Girl with the Flaxen Hair.

Heres me thinking outside of the box again with all my photos coming from

This post is from our Baltics Cruise and showing Tallinn - Estonia.

Tallinn is well known for its LINEN.

My Header is taken from the TOOMPEA  - Tallinns Castle with its Turrets rising above the tree tops.

Let me show you a few photos from Tallinn

Here we have The Old Wall of Tallinn and within the wall is some of the shops with all their hand-made goods for sale,

Just one of many narrow streets of Tallin

This is the busy main street that leads up to the Toompea- Tallinns Castle, see how busy it is, with many cafes,shops- selling many items, including Linen.

These 2 photos were taken from the Toompea, looking over the beautiful Town of Tallinn.

Now to see some of Tallinns Linen.

Heres my photos

AYE AYE Capt' and his rumpled  trousers and the Sails of the ship are made of Linen.

Here's a shop who sells Linen and a Dummy displaing a dress.

An Artist paining on his Linen Canvasses.

Another Linen shop and its Dummy.

Well - here we have a LIVE? dummy with its  Dress on.

I do hope that you have enjoyed my photos of Linen and of course Tallinn itself from Estonia in the Baltics.

Now pop over and see what the other members of THE HEADBANGERS  have shown for Linen.

You will find my friends on my side bar - near my shield.

Clever, clever Imac! This is a beautiful place. The buildings are so perfect, they look like toys.

Your photos of Tallinn are marvelous. The town itself is picture perfect -- I really like those roofs. You've done well with this post, my friend.

Fantastic images! Takes you back to a time when "Made in (far east)" was not on the lable. Tallinn is a well preserved old city.

Tallinn is one of those places that I'd love to visit but I doubt I will. Who knows maybe someday. :-)

Castles - I've always wanted to live in one. :)
What a lovely walk with you around the town.
I like your outside of the box take on 'linen'.

Your linen entry is awesome as usual...thinking outside the box, is right. Loved the linen paintings and the sailors trousers and sails.
The castle is yet another amazing place you have taken me on your travels. I thank you, dear Stewart.
