Regent Canal - London

Lets leave the great city of London behind us - and take a trip down Regents Canal

The Gas Works, and New flats near by.

Plenty of Barges on Regents Canal, here's one with a family aboard

The little lad wanted to see his Barge come through the Lock Gates

 Another Barge passing thru

This is the Gate keepers cottage - or was, its private property now.

Just look at these beauties growing along side the Cottage

There's quite a few runners and cyclists along the tow path

 Great reflections under the bridge.

Well we are nearly at the point where we leave the Regents Canal

My friend hopes that you all enjoyed out trip down the canal, and hopes he will see us again sometime.  - bye 4 now.

Some real beauties there Stewart. I have always wandered what it would be like to take a holiday on a barge. One of these days maybe.

Delightful trip! The lad on the boat looks ready to defend against pirates! Love the reflection and the way the bridge frames the scene.
