With being away for 2 weeks of Header this 1st week Im posting early for all to enjoy.

I am posting for the fun - so I hope you all will enjoy yourselves.

My Take of Thanks - is - No matter what hand you are dealt with for your life - you still can enjoy your life if you have God and your friends to support you.

My Header is Terence the Tramp who has found a bed for the day - after he and his pal were out on the tiles for the night.

But my post is of his friend Johnny who failed to find a bed for the day.

My Music is King of the road sung by Rodger Miller and Friends singing with him in persons.

Julie was learning colour and texture and was painted with water based school paint.
It was entered into an exhibition by her teacher.

Header Challenge 09-11-11 = Weird & Wonderful - by Dave

This weeks Header Challenge comes from Dave and his choice of theme is ""Weird and Wonderful""

My take on this is = 

Weird and Wonderful - The World of Macs Macros from Nature.

My Header is Sparkling Raindrops on a fragile Leaf.

After a rain storm I went out into the garden with my Macro Lens - small tripod and photographed these weird and wonderful sparkling raindrops on a plant leaf.

Adjusted contrast- and then pulled the dark down so there was no background but left the raindrops sparkling.

The music and film I'm showing is Nature Macro - so enjoy.

This Greenbottle Fly was photographed in my garden too, 

you can see the pollen around his legs and mouth.

Another Weird and Wonderful Macro shot.

This shot was from a friends garden.

An Iris taken at Doddington Hall  - Again with using my small tripod.

This flower is one of the most weird and wonderful flower Ive seen - - reminds me of a plant from another World (man eating plant maybe)  see his tongue sticking out.

 Now - this is weird and wonderful - taken in our garden.

Looks like an alien creature - in fact its a plant with ice on - his head - lol.

Nature at its best - Weird and Wonderful 2 butterflies mating.

Taken at Naturescape - a Wild flower Farm - not to far from us.

To me - this is one of  my hours of glory to capture this - apart from my Header of course.lol.

This took around 2 hours to photograph - every time I crept up to them, they flew off joined together, it took about 12 attempts

to capture them - this was my finest hour,lol.

Stalking The Stag - to photograph

Yesterday Saturday 05-11-11,  my mate BH and I decided to visit Belton Grounds from the Lions Gate to see if we could capture the Stag and Deer by camera. so around 2pm we entered the gate and started to walk a little, no deer or stag to be seen.It was also a little damp and misty.

We have to go further, so now - which way "I wonder" straight on or to the right.

Lets go straight on says BH - so on we go

We get to where the Lake is (not the 2 top lakes in the grounds - but half way from the Lion Gate to the House) Lake, when we saw a little movement

Shhh, BH says just over that hump --

Heres the lake

We bob down into the long grass, and we see some deer

We take a few shots of the Deer - then decide to hunt for the Stag

 We walk through the Autumn leave and cross the bridge

 BH whispers - just over there - the Stag is sitting just over there -

So we shoot off a few shots.
Here - there is no fence between us and the Stag.

Lets try and get closer - You go round that way and Ill go round this way shhh

 The Stag hears us - He gets up and moves away

But - Wait - he stops again and starts to nibble on the grass --we move in closer - closer - a little more

Hey - this is great - just great we shoot of a few more shots - now - 

what we want is ---wait for it ----

Thats it - just perfect - he looks at us ---snap snap snap

A perfect shot on a perfect days shoot.
