Header Challenge 10-08-11 = Literature by Dave

This weeks Header choice is Literature by Dave.

My Take on Literature is that I chose a book, in fact I dont read a lot, but when I picked this book up, I just could not put it down.
This book hit the TV and the Papers, also its  Controversial - you either love it or hate it.
I Loved it.
Its a great Novel by a Great Author.
Its
Click on the name for Dan Browns official web site and read all about this book and his others.

My Music is from the Film of The Da Vinci  Code.

My Header is a combined photo of me reading the book and the Glass Pyramid, which features in the Story.
Also my post pics are from the story
but
Westminster (in the film) was really Lincoln Cathedral.

This is the Louvre in Paris which has on display some of the paintings mentioned in the film and book of The Da Vinci Code

The Glass Pyramid
and The Inverted  Glass Pyramid
this is where the Hidden Secret is said to be???
(to find out - you will have to read this great novel.)?

This is the Tuileries Gardens in Paris - where the 2 main folk of the story drove through.

Now we Move to the UK with the story and Westminster(which is really Lincoln Cathedral)

Just look at these reflections from these wonderful windows.
The Da Vinci Code is a Riveting Read.

Dan Browns other books are also great Novels too.
Dont forget to check his web-site out

Go and visit the other Head Bangers and see their take on
Literature.
You'll find these good folk on my side bar - just under my Header.

Good Luck.

We enjoyed the Angels & Demons film. Have the DVD of Da Vinci Code, but have not watched it yet. Must dig it out now you've reminded me.

I really like header -- it's very creative. I also enjoyed your photos of the settings for the book, although I did not realize that Lincoln Cathedral filled in for Westminster in the film. I haven't seen the film, so I'll use that as my excuse.

Great film but as mostly happens even better book. Nice merging of your images to form your header. So when were you chasing the secret feminine then?
My subscription is now working perfectly to your site as well thanks imac.

It was brilliant watching your header roll onto my screen through this slowish connection. Magic! Wow. Great post. I enjoyed that book immensely, too. Everything that man writes is engrossing.

I have heard about the book ... :-)

I highly enjoyed the photos of Lincoln Cathedral. It is supposed to be very similar to Nidarosdomen in Trondheim, Norway. We have just visited that, but photography inside was no allowed. I Admit to taking two, though, without flash of course.

PS I hope that you have not been harmed by all the rioting in the UK these last few days. Not the best way to argue a case.

I hate this glass pyramide in the middle of these beautiful buildings. It's like a fist on an eye !
I have seen the Da Vinci Code, but don't remember very well. I only know that the pope in his Vatican was shocked and tried to stop the film !
