At the foot of Shanklin Cliffs

Staring at the top of the cliffs - iron oxide? anybody? not too sure.

The remains of a tree at the foot of the cliffs

Holes in the rocks with moss growing, Holes ? How? - weathered by the weather perhaps.

Metal, wonder what this once was - just had to photograph this.

Another tree Hollow inside - maybe to another world ? connected to Witch and the Wardrobe perhaps?

Is this oil, looks like it - felt like it? - running down the cliff face.

My carbon footprint.........

!!! Damage done by rocks falling !!! or maybe the house???

What a mysterious stroll along the cliffs. The hollow tree reminds me of Down the Rabbit Hole of Alice and Wonderland...not sure about the oil.weird! Very unique pics.

Certainly some flotsam & jetsam on that beach. No messages in bottles though?

You definitely found some interesting things at the base of the cliff. I'm glad you had your camera at the ready.

Tree remains get me like nothing else. We are sooooo vulnerable. What a neat place.

Red in the rocks definitely always indicates iron content.

A beachcomber's delight!
