Lovely sculptures. It doesn't appear to be damaged from air pollution that used to soak into the tops of stone carvings and turn them black and rot the stone. That is good to see it is not there.
You've captured some really beautiful details here. Isn't it incredible what can be carved out of stone? It blows the mind; really!
Incredible art work! I can't imagine the work that went into these sculptures...and am so glad that time has been their friend and not their enemy.
