Interesting old Abbey! I am always amazed at the construction of these old buildings without the power of modern power tools. Cutting the stone and lifting it must have been hard work. I have thoroughly enjoyed your tour of Llangollen,

Was there a welcome in the hillside? Looks like you had a good exploration of the area.

The abbey must have quite a history to it.

Alas, the only kinds of abbeys I've seen lately are the abbey-normals.

Oh wow... I can *feel* the history in these shots! I love Canada and being Canadian but all of our history seems so FRESH when compared with other countries'!

A very interesting and beautiful old abbey. I'm sure its walls have loads of stories to tell if we only had the ears to listen to them. I also admire the craftsmen of times gone by and what they accomplished with rather simple methods and tools. Finally, I think the Welsh landscape is fantastic and you captured it well.
