Sunday Lunch 25/010/09

Sunday Lunch at the Dirty Duck Public House.

We Met a fellow Blogger from Nottingham for Sunday Lunch at the Dirty Duck, just off the A52 Notts to Grantham.

Gailsman and his DW Gail, this was our 2nd meeting, the 1st was just over a year ago (I had had 1-5 too many pints)
It was at my 60th Birthday Party.

We met and went in - we had a wonderful Sunday Lunch and Pudding (afters) to the Posh peeps, washed down with a pint or 2.(The ladies were driving)
Of course, there were lots of chatter, while the 2 girls got to know each other, GM and myself were totally involved in talking about cameras and blogging.

After a couple of hours we went for a short walk along the Grantham Canal, taking a few snaps here and there, lol.

A family of swans were idling along the canal, we stopped and took a few shots and moved on.

To be continued...........

Good photo of me and the boss! We both had an enjoyable time with both company and food. Had no problems getting back home. No caravans, slow drivers or lorries.
See you soon.

Mac: Congrats on number 60 my friend, certainly a milestone. So you lost count on how many extra pints you had, that was so funny.

I'm wondering which came first - the wandering, or the blog-pics? You must have covered a fair few miles in persuit of subject matter! :)

Dirty duck? The name is quite suggestive! Such places with those weird names usually serve the best food around! Glad that you had a good time with your friends!
God bless you!
