BROER SOM BINDER = BRIDGES BETWEEN.

BROER SOM BINDER = BRIDGES BETWEEN by Rune. Please visit.

THE BRIDGE OF NO RETURN.
FOREVER FORGOTTEN = FOREVER LOST.

As you step upon the Bridge your steps are heavy and slow, as you know there's no return.
You are thinking - just how long it will take to get there as your mind begins to wonder into your past.
When you were a child -your 1st day at school, when at break time you fell and hurt your knee, your 1st job? your 1st kiss? so much filling your head..
The happy times, tragic times, and without noticing - your pace is now quicker as you look around, you find yourself in a thick mist - Before you know it you are stepping off the Bridge, - you look back and wave - and Pray to God to take your hand and guide you - as you enter the DARK DEEP DAMP Forest ot the World of ALZIMERS. . . . . . . . . . .
Forever Forgotten - Forever Lost.

So touching and painful but well spoken. I went through that dark, damp time with both of my in-laws. It affects everyone in the family.

A very thoughtful and an very truthful interpretation. The title itself says a lot - we are all on a bridge of no return.

PS And accompanied by a beauty of a photo!

Where did those words come from?

Not from the intellect but deep from the heart.

Great blog Mac.

I don't know what to say, so I'll just say blessings to you Stewart, and to everyone else who has been to that bridge with a loved one.

After my heart and kidney transplantation I have had 10 wonderful years. I know that when I get on that bridge I will jump. No more prolongation if I am not able to take care of myself.
Thats why I live the lovely life NOW.

That is a bridge we all go over but there are memories to keep the bridge visible for most of us. Hoping I never reach the alzheimer plank. . .

Very deep thoughts. We're all on a bridge of no return but fortunately not all of us are on the Alzheimer’s one.

On the serious side, how insightful your musings are!
