That's a good "narrow" picture. I've never seen a boat like that! I like seeing and learning about things new to me. Thanks for sharing.

Familiar sights from my years in London each summer, during Wimbledon and the Test cricket.

I wish I could take a ride on one of those boats. I haven't even had a ride on any American canal boat! My Photo Hunt is here. Thank you.

Before a lot of years I saw some documentary with Narrow boats and me it made big impression, when I saw that it passed bridges, and through cities.
I asked and I learned, I hope some time to try!

The boat is so narrow. I wonder how persons can sit in one. Hey, the cycling track is narrow too. :)

If you have the time, do check out my another interpretation at http://www2.crizlai.com/2008/02/02/photo-hunters-narrow/

I like the narrow boat photo...the pathway beside the canal could be narrow too, I guess!

England swings like a pendulum do bobbies on bicycles two by two
Westminster Abbey the Tower of Big Ben the rosy red cheeks of the little children
Now if you huff and puff and you fin'ly save enough
Money up to take your family on a trip across the sea
Take a tip before you take your trip let me tell you where you go go to England oh
Mama's old pijamas and your papa's mustache
Fallin' out the window sill frolic in the grash
Tryin' to mock the way they talk fun but all in vain
Gepin' at the dapper men with ferby hats and canes

:) This reminds me of the barges on the C&O Canal in Washington, DC

Such fun in the summer time.
