Mac's Macro 4 = You know the reeds by river/canal.
Well here's a reed shedding its seeds. Waiting for the wind to blow them off, not on yer life/ no wind.
OK here's how its done --Camera in right hand, stick in left hand, edgeing to the side of Canal, hitting reed with stick shooting reed (as it sheds its seeds)with camera in right hand, hoping its steady enough not to shake and blur.
Shooting with 100mm lens. - Taking about 23 shots, well I got about 4-5 good ones. Here's one =

ha! great trick and tip... trouble is I'd have fallen in the bloody water...ha!
As normal I really enjoyed my visit here, it was tinged with sadness, but you dealt with that so beautifully.... Here's to next week and the posts that brings.. my thoughts are with you. We both lost our mother this month... and now matter how old we get.. it still hurts at times.
neat
Very beautiful the photograph, amazing macro and colours!
Hey we call those things "cat tails".. I once brought some in and had them over in a corner, so proud of my decorations until the day they exploded... what a mess!! Someone told me I should have varnished them or at least sprayed them with hair spray...LOL Thanks for that memory! Loved the photo and the tip for getting that shot!!
Love this macro shot, You captured this at the right time.. ;) yeah I didn't dip my feet in the water. I was tempted though, but I worried that I might stock in the mud..lol
