Monet's Garden Giverny. Post 1

As we enter Monet's Garden Giverny - near Paris France, we walk down this pathway, with Flower beds each side. There are about 5 - 6 pathways all flowers growing and mixed. I will show some of the pathways and some flowers on their own. Here is Monet's House, where he lived with Wife and family. The house is a Museum now All furnished out with the original furniture. It is so amazing, as you walk around to see each room as it was then. The Kitchen, bedrooms, also his studio where he did some of his paintings.

Just for those of you who like SEATS - BENCHES, can you just imagine Monet sitting here thinking of his paintings? and chatting away with his family. Gladioli, Here is the 1st flower as promised. Some I cant remember their names, but I'm sure someone will tell me.lol. -----------To be continued.

OH OH and Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The memories flood back IMAC. Dear Giverny …
One of my favorite places, if I had your e mail I would send you a picture of me with some of the students we chaperoned on my trip there, That VERY set of steps with the roses is gay profusion.

My kitchen was in the throes of a remodel when I traveled to France and England, after seeing Monet’s home; I re thought and came up with MY rendition of the Monet Kitchen.
That home had such a lovely feel, love calm etc.

The most amazing thing, or one of the most amazing things, was some of the artwork I had seen when I was in Tokyo. I so want to return there.

Monet was one of my favorites when I was painting in oil. I used to marvel at his colors. It is nice to get to see his home and live flower beds.
