My Hobby - Photography.

"We know" - I hear you say.

Just thought I'd show you what I do on my days off from my job at the Hospital.

I make Greeting Cards and Framed photos and sell them at the Hospital, I hire a stall space and set up and sell to the staff, visitors ect.

Sometimes I'm asked if I would like to show at churches, fetes ect, so if I'm not working off I trot.

Here are 2 photos with my display at a small village called Barrowby, just outsde Grantham.

I dont make any profit, but it very near covers my costs for my photography.
I'm just about to start with the winter scenes into cards.

How lovely to sell your photos! I'm sure each one sold is a treasure to the recipient!

It great you have a venue to show and sell your work. I have been contemplating doing that myself. Getting started is the hardest part.

Good luck with it, to cover my printing cost I do laminated business cards for a lot of the local builders... they would rather pay me than an office supplies. I also do tickets for events held in one or two of the local pubs.. in fact I've just finished some tickets from a local pub in Gee Cross for the Boxing on the 8th December. Ricky Hatton and Floyed Mayweather jnr. The tickets are not sold but without one you won't get in the pub that night. This time of the year I do Santa reply letters as well.
I find it gives me an interest more than any monetary gain.
