Local Picture post 1



Grantham's Guildhall Arts Centre.

Which host's The Mayor's Parlour, A Ballroom, A Theatre, A Cafe-Bar,(which also has got room to hang Exhibits of Paintings ect,Cyber Cafe, Conference Room, and a small Tourist Information Centre-come booking desk.

The Statue in front is Sir Isaac Newton(you know The gravity Man)He was born just a few miles from Grantham. My Home Town.

THAT's your local arts centre? Whew, you lucky man! Is the white clock tower an add-on to the original structure.

Good to see the Newton statue - lends ``gravity'' to the shot!!

I think David, It was built at the time, It was known as the Town Hall.
The dooking hall was the 1st jail in Grantham, and still has the bars in it.
