There are only 3 workable Lancaster's left now.

2 that can fly -1 in Canada

- the other at Coningsby Lincolnshire. Which flies the Battle of Britian.

The 3rd just taxies the runway, which is at the Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, Lincolnshire. This particular one is called "JUST JANE"The hanger which houses JUST JANE is reported to beone of the most haunted places in the UK.

24 shoot downs! Impressive! I'd say that record was good, for some hauntings!

Now, how about the land, where this Aviation Heritage Centre is located? Wondering if that land has ancient history, which could account for a few more, even older hauntings?

I love it! Since my city is known for its haunted places, too.

As an aviation buff, I still remember sitting in the cockpit of a Lanc.

You might like the Mustang shots I posted recently (post title was `Mustang Tally')

Cheers

Sounds interesting. I've heard of haunted places but never been to one.
