HEADER CHALLENGE
Thank-You  = by Kathy.

This week my Header and post pics comes from St Ives - Cornwall 2005 and features  - Hobbs the Cat from Carbis Bay Hotel.

My Header
Our 1st visit to St Ives 2005,
We take to the coastal path on Sunday morning and walk to the Carbis Bay Hotel and have lunch a pint and then walk back to St Ives.
Our 1st visit in 2005 and we find this beautiful cat laying stretched out and soaking up the sun.
2006
We find The Cat laying out again in the sun, we spoke to him and gave him a stroke, he lifted his head up we took him  to say THANK YOU.
We also learned  that  his name was Hobbs.

2006 2007 2008
We saw Hobbs in different  chairs and still enjoying the sun.

It got that we always looked forward to seeing our old friend Hobbs the cat and always gave him a stroke and spoke to him, he always enjoyed the fuss folk used to make of him.
2009
We called again for our lunch, but no Hobbs about, we asked and was told that he wasnt at all well, we hoped that he would get better, but in 2010 on our next visit  we learned that Hobbs had passed away.

In our prayers we Thanked the Lord for the years of pleasure that Hobbs had  given us and everyone else.
We sure do miss old Hobbs when we go to St Ives and our visit to Carbis Bay Hotel.

Here we see Hobbs imortilised in Chalk and Charcoal.

Hope you all enjoyed our THANK YOU  story of Hobbs the Cat
from Carbis Bay Hotel.
Now pop over to the other HEADBANGERS who are on my side bar - near my shield and see their take on Thank You.

GOOD LUCK.

What fun Mac, Hobbs certainly learned to enjoy the simple things of life.

Fun and tradition. Always a step back when the tradition changes.

I laugh at jokes about cats and the proverbial crazy cat ladies, but I am at heart a cat lover, too. They have amusing personalities and it is so rewarding to earn a cat's trust.

I'm thankful for you, Imac. You seem to me to be more like a relative than a blogging acquaintance. I do not have a "bucket list," but if I did, one of the items would be to make the trip out there, and visit over a frosty pint and some pork pie. I appreciate your sense of humor, probably because it is just as warped and silly as my own. You have a great eye for art and beauty. I thank the Lord for the gifts he gave you, my friend!
