Lancaster Canal

 Peaceful Holiday? is this your dream holiday? - Then go and take a barge for a ride.
 Just one of many Canals in Britain - this is the Lancaster Canal.

 While we were in the Lakes - we took a short walk along the Lancaster Canal




 Time in your hands -


 Don't fall in though - or you will get a Ducking,lol.

    I've long felt that a cruise on a barge along one of Great Britain's canals would be an ideal holiday. Your pictures of the scene along the Lancaster Canal just make me want to do it even more. Your pictures are marvelous.

    Excellent Stewart.. we've looked at this and got it down as one we'd like to cruise on... I enjoy looking at the names of the boats... some are very funny.
    I managed to get out today with a local artist... he was on a 'recky' for a decent spot to paint from in an up coming competition in a Derbyshire village.. I'll be posting some picture on F.B. in a while.
