Ever washed a glass up and put on the draining board not rinsed out properly, well I did the other day.
Finishing my dishes - colour caught my eye in this glass - a bubble and the sunlight caused the rainbow, now - somefolk would have just rinsed and wiped the glass - me - nar - I fetched my camera and shot a few photos off.
Quite exciting to see the results here and shot a few more off.
Then I picked up the glass and was about to rinse, when the liquid moved - so I turned the glass around a few times - wow - more photos were taken and I captured a different pattern.
So simple - yet so amazing - what photos you can capture with an Artistic Eye.

Fantastic accidental experiment Mac. Don't you just love those moments of discovery when you just have to grab your camera and then share what you have found.
You have an excellent artistic eye. Thanks for sharing your rainbow with us.
Now you have found a new invention (even if it was by accident)... Wonder if you'll ON PURPOSE not rinse the glasses from now on????? ha....
Great pictures... I can only imagine how much fun you had with that.

These are amazing. Gorgeous.
These are great! Bet if you tried to get a bubble again it would be impossible!
Playing again? Great outcome, something we miss from using the dishwasher.
How neat. Always looking for a good photo big guy. That's what makes you a great photographer.
A very creative idea, and it's beautiful, love all pictures!

as george said, you have a superb artistic eye!
i love those artful images!
Slick.
I laughed when I read this, because I am constantly looking at things, getting up close or changing perspective, all in search for the next photo. So much so, that people will discover something interesting and fetch me, suggesting that I take a picture. I imagine you also have cultivated some helpers. I love it!!
Very creative ! who would have thought that washing dishes can be so artistic ?
That's a happy accident. You made the most of what you saw!
Well seen and captured, Stewart.
When I've been draining the water after washing the dishes, I've often thought of trying to capture those little perfect spheres of water that you sometimes see running around as a result of squeezing out the dishcloth or similar.
Well, I know what I mean anyway, lol!
...but I just haven't found your dedication yet!
