The beauty of Winters Wrath

Just one breath and the waters turn to ice,
Come - see the beauty of one such slice,
The cruel wrath of winter is almost over,
Then our fields will be carpeted with green clover.

Looks like cold shards of glass. I can't wait until it's all over with. As I type this, there is about 4" of new snow on everything outside my window. In town, it was slushy and messy and overnight, I'll bet it has frozen solid. It is Cold, with a capital L.

Well done. They say hell hath no fury as a woman's wrath. I am thinking winter is a lady. Her aftermath is stunning. Thanks for capturing it.

It's difficult to wish for anything else, when it produces such photographs as this beauty!!

In certain spots out in the Market Garden when it gets really cold the ice shoots up out of the ground like a huge city of crystal towers. I think winter is beautiful and he gets an awful bad rap.

Wow - OK so I have a hate on for winter right now but you've made it just a little more bearable. GREAT ice shots, Stewart!
