In for a treat on the last stretch of the Wall Walk of Berwick
Walk a little more along on top of the wall - we see where the old moat used to be.
Underneath were the place to store and also passages.
Hey turn around, do you want a bargain ?? A car boot sale,
The sun was shining up here, but by Gum was'nt it windy, go to the edge and you felt the wind trying to blow you off the wall.
Dropping down the slope a little,
look to your left and we see that we do fly our flag in some places, also fly our knickers too.lol
Well, here we are, the steps to take us down from the wall.
Roughly two -two and half mile to walk round the wall and roughly takes 45 mins they say, but it depends on how many times you stop and just look and admire the scenery also take your photos - plus if you explore all the tunnels too.
Down to earth at last, and here's the old gateway to the Town of Berwick.
Hope you all have enjoyed your wall walk and not too tired out, as we have more to see in Berwick, then there's Holy Island to come, oh and Canvey Island - where Mum - in - Law lives
oh it goes on and on, dunit??
Beautiful and interesting place to visit.
ReplyDeleteThere is such great scenery every way you turn isn't there. Wonderful photos and I love the laundry flying with the flag.

ReplyDeleteWe fly our flag and knickers here too, just not on the same pole! LOL

I agree with your comments about Scott Linstead's work, 90% of it is the result of technology and patients.
ReplyDeleteThough I must say the photo of the osprey grabbing the fish is the result of brilliant photography and a mighty long lens.
YOu certainly made the most of your time in Berwick! Love the walk!
