Hello, come rest awhile with me - park yourself and take in the restful feeling of the afternoon sun on your face and a gentle breeze swaying the trees while watching the geese swim by.Ive got a flask of coffee and some chocolate cake, please come and partake.
We are at Belton House and its grounds and sitting by the 1st lake.
Not a soul in site, the crowds are around the house and flower gardens.

That's a serene, beautiful stopping off place.
This is the nice part of exploring places on your own. The crowds go one way and you the other. I like it that way myself.
