We walked the walls of Lincoln Castle, see how far can be seen on a clear day.
My chum Blood-Hound is in the 3rd pic capturing the Cathedral (of which I will show in my next post).
The Castle was build of sandstone and therefore suffered some damage over the winter - which is now being repaired.
I can just see it hailing iron-pointed and armour piercing arrows. What a nice set of pictures.
ReplyDeleteMac: What a wonderful view.
ReplyDeleteGreat! I must also have some wonderful views over the township around!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

See. Told you that your pics were better than mine. Nicely told sir!
ReplyDeleteI think it's neat the the castle walls are in such great shape that you can walk along them. These are beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to be able to walk along the walls of the castle... I know you enjoyed it.

Love the perspective in these shots mac - the wall seems to go on forever!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to feel part of history, the walls look like they cover quite a large area.

I could sit in a place like this for hours, imagining all of the things that must have happened here over the years. GREAT shots, Mac!
ReplyDeleteOh, how exciting. I can't wait to see it! Well, I guess I'd better wait till I get there.
