Paupers Graves in The Rock Cemetery

Each small district in the town had their own -Year and plot I reckon by the looks of these headstones.
This cemetery sure is so different from all the others Ive been in, and there's still more to show too.

These are amazing. Our cemetery should be so lovely. Some folks find a cemetery to be eery, but I find it a place of solace.

HI Mac, In the big cemetery in VA where my parents are buried, there is an area for the 'poor' and 'unknown'.... It's really kinda sad--but just part of life I guess.

Very interesting. If the numbers on the right represent ages, this must be the grave of poor children.

Sad in a way, but at least they're still 'remembered' more than 100 years later. Thanks for the bit of history - fascinating.
