Trying to turn the clock back

Would You change anything if you had the chance to live your life again?

  1. Probably not, for good, bad or indifferent, the things that happened have made me who I am today... Guess I can live with that.

  3. I am happy we have clocks. I can't imagine turning these things every hour. I guess they were meant to be a kind of medieval timer.

I spent one day restoring Patty's computer. She clicked on an email she had sent that could not be delivered and was returned. She was curious as to why it wasn't delivered and clicked on the notice. Well, it was a "worm" that locked her computer and wouldn't let her do anything. When I got up the next day, she came out in her PJs and said, "My computer won't come on."

I had to reformat the hard drive and return it to the factory, new, condition. She lost everything on the computer. I feel sorry for her as it takes a lot of time to put her things back on the computer that she had saved on an external hard drive. Beware folks. If you send an email and it comes back, you should not open it.

I have not been able to get around much of late.

  4. Jane said that when I die she is going to put my ashes in a 'Hour Glass'.. She said it will be the first time she's found me useful about the house... ;O)

As for would I change anything .. wow what a question, yes there is something but it would take a book to explain what and why...

  5. I don't think I would go and change anything. I am quite content with the life I have had, my children, my grandchildren, my ups and downs, good and bad things all shaped my person to what I am now.
I have done and continue to do the best of my capabilities.

  7. That's a difficult question, I would probably do a few things otherwise, but really change, I think no.

  8. Although there are some things that I probably should have done differently, I think I've had a pretty good life and I like where I am.

  9. Nice photo. On the one hand, I could say that I wish change some things, but really why waste time with regrets. Onward!

  13. Most definitely. Probably from the age of 7 too. As I have now hit middle age, I can look back on my life so far with plenty of "I wish I had done this instead's" and "if only's". But I can't change anything, so I have to try harder in the future.

  15. Beautiful shot.
There are so many things I would change, but those changes would impact on the good things I enjoy now (including the existence of my children) so I would have to conclude, no.
Whatever we endure, there are positives and we learn. I would love to change my health situation, but it has made me more appreciative of what I have, made my children realise my mortality (and their's) and ultimately makes us grateful for each day.

So if I could go back I would not change a thing.

But if I could have a future without these trials... now that's a different question and I would give a resounding yes!
