Swinging in the dark

Swinging

Swinging in the dark...
You sit on the swing
Back & Forth, gently
it is dark
you are alone
Back & Forth, gently
watching the world
pass you by
Back & Forth, gently
lovers walk
hand in hand
Back & Forth, gently
it is dark
and
you are alone

Nice photo....but I know that my rear end wouldn't fit on THAT swing...:)))

Reminds me of times when I did something like that but it was so long ago I had forgotten.

Thanks for your visit to my Pick a Peck of Pixels blog and for your comments there about my illustrations.

Cute poem and this swing is very original but I guess it's not safe!

Mac: At the park / in the dark
swing we will / for the thrill
fun to feel / on the hill
from the tree / it must be.

Oh, is that a swing? I thought you got your kite stuck in a tree.

The poem is a little melancholy, but sometimes I relish those moments of solitude.

Swinging in the dark - had me imagining you throwing your car keys into a bowl. :)

A lovely photo and a great poem you've chosen to accompany it.

I really like this picture of the swing in the dark. I also like the poem you printed as well.
