Achensee Austria Post 2

This is the largest Hotel in Achensee The Strand Hotel.

Ah yes the Apple Strudel I was talking about(there is a better one to come)
with a pint it goes down well.

Here's DW she stands all alone and taking in the vastness of the scenery as I was taking her photo.

Ahhhh the beautiful smell of this bush as I took the photo with the mountain backdrop.

  5. I read your comment about your mum-in-law, now 83, still doing cruises after her aortic aneurysm surgery.

I can say that it was a painful surgery afterwards and took weeks before most of the pain left me altogether. I am happy your family is still together.

    Thanks for the visit.

  7. Apple strudel - yum! Haven't seen any of it here in Malaysia.

We'll be home in just over 24 hours.

Remember your challenge - that I had to take a shot with a camera lens in the frame?

Well, I shot the frame yesterday - will post it and link to you when I get home.

  11. Beautiful! I can't wait to visit someday. My first vacation to Europe will be to Bavaria and Austria - I've always loved that part of the world... and a good schnitzel and a good apple streudel. :)
