an come accross Dick an family the Gypsies, they asked me to hold up with them a while - so ere I am with Dick an family.
This life like mine - simple. No worries. Roam free.

Hmm not sure about that Tom, we see a lot round our way - although the last lot at Wareham roundabout unloaded thier horses off a trailer - that's not quite right I'm sure.

Real gypsies?
When I was a kid, gypsies visited out little hamlet every summer. They stayed for a couple of days, at a farmer's meadow by the woods, did their wash in the brook, sharpened all the knives and scissors of the village people (about a dozen farmers), and then moved on. Everybody looked forward to seeing them again the next year.
