I really like what you've done with this one! Certainly looks "old fashioned".

How do you find more info on the "photo hunt" and know what's coming up next??

I love the sepia treatment you've given the shot. I chose old cottages for my PhotoHunt too - wish I'd thought of sepia!

Nice work. The only thing missing is an old fashioned cow drinking.

Every time I open your blog, I have problems going further after your wonderful opening photo from the Austrian Alps.
Where in Austria can I find this scenery.

Nice photograph. It reminds me that the village where I was born had two public water troughs for people to water their horses when they came to town. Those were our horse and buggy days.

Oh, how perfect! Looks like smurfs live there :)

Perfect! It looks like the perfect backdrop for an old-fashioned woman to come walking around the corner with a bucket over her arm.

We have many houses like this in the area where I live.

Thank you Mac, for going to visit my Net-friend at Barleycorn in Winter. And thank you for telling her that I sent you. :-) A good man, you are!

Wondering if you are any where in the vicinity of her little village? Probably not. I don't know anything about the geography of the UK... So don't "laugh yourself silly" at my even wondering this. -giggles-

P.S. On second thought, go ahead and "laugh yourself silly"! We should never pass up a chance to do that!!!

And great sunsets in previous post too!
