Its True and Real- Ive got Proof

Ever Heard of the
Wombles Of Wimbledon Green??

Well Ive got proof that they ARE real.

As we were going to London yesterday
to see the Terracotta Army we stopped at Boldock Services
for a cuppa.

They have multiplied and moved to Boldock for more room.
Here is the proof - these are their chimmneys of their houses underground.
There seemed to be a lot of activity but when I tried to
Photograph them - they dissappeared down their little
door holes.

Hm - I may still be a bit sceptical - maybe because we have a tradition for making things from empty toilet paper rolls.

Great, anyway!

Aye, Cap'n,

I used to cover Wimbledon each year, as a sportswriter.

Now then 'ere's a question for you, Guv - do you know who or what was called Womble at the All-England Club?

Tick, tick, tick - your time is winding down .....

Just can't get around to all like I once did. So thank you for visiting today. I appreciate it a lot.

Those look like tubes around trees.

Saw your answer on my blog. You really make me smile, iMac.

Answer: When Wimbledon got its first computer in the 80s (to perform the onerous task of the tournament draw) it was christened ...
