That's a very rude gargoyle. Obviously he didn't listen to his mother who told him countless times, "if you keep pulling that nasty face, one day you'll stay like that!'
The Plymouth Rock chicken or is it a "barred" Plymouth Rock? Either way I like it very much. An under-rated bird whose ancestry is worth digging up.
I also like the gargoyle because I used to be deeply involved in and wrote a book or two about Medieval illumination and studied the works of many ancient masters and the creatures they created to inhabit the best manuscripts and books of their times are still haunting me. A Goose Head up under the frock or cloak of a Monk is disturbing to say the least.
