Where all peoples Flock to the Harbour for the Service of the Lifeboat.

Music is played before the Lifeboat arrives to keep everyone happy.

When the lifeboat arrives with its grew, Priest and Honourable People and docks----The sevice begins.

Hymes and prayers and speeches------------well into the evening, as the sun sets over the harbour, casting shadows along the sea inlet.

As the sevice comes to an end, the Lifeboat casts off and the crowd waves bye bye.As the life boat dissappears from the harbour -------The captain fires off a flare -- to end the night.

That's a neat event. Love the flare and it's trail through the sky.

I love the flare, too. And I find the whole lifeboat thing very emotive, having lived on an island and watched the local vessel in action - even rescued a neighbour in difficulties once.
