Tree Fascination in Ely

This tree in Ely really caught my attention
Its the way it hangs - over the river
So many angles to go for
 I love it
 Both sides too
 Even angled

A beauty among trees - what kind is it?

Fascination is the right word indeed. The tree is wonderful and your pictures are one more amazing than other, you did perfect compositions, got different angles, bravo!

I think that tree is a Rastafarian...

Hi Stewart, Would you say that tree is a little tipsy?????? ha ha .... Love the way it leans over the water. It would take some time for Mom and Dad to comb that tree's hair each day, don't you think???? Tee Hee.

Willows are great for shade, but when they're trimmed like this, that's when we can best take advantage of the shade. It reminded me of the Beatles' haircuts.

Nice. I like the sweeping curves of the willow and the iron fence.
Great reflection captured too.

I love these trees but I have not enough place to put one like that in our garden.

You obviously saw the tree for the wood

I would have called it a Weeping Willow tree. They love water. My husband wouldn't let me have one. He had heard the roots would go straight for the septic tank. I love your tree and all the angles.
