This "Lancaster Canal"is an adorable place indeed and you did great job with your camera, your pictures are wonderful.I'm delighted by the duck family, so cute!hugsLéia
Any one of these could be a puzzle for sale...gorgeous!
I've long felt that a cruise on a barge along one of Great Britain's canals would be an ideal holiday. Your pictures of the scene along the Lancaster Canal just make me want to do it even more. Your pictures are marvelous.
Fantastic captures of a really beautiful place! Thank you so much for sharing, I love this post!
Excellent Stewart.. we've looked at this and got it down as one we'd like to cruise on... I enjoy looking at the names of the boats... some are very funny. I managed to get out today with a local artist... he was on a 'recky' for a decent spot to paint from in an up coming competition in a Derbyshire village.. I'll be posting some picture on F.B. in a while.
Looks an interesting place to take a stroll and snap a few photos. There are some amusing names for boats and you spotted some good ones.
I love to look at each and every one of your shots. They speak as if with words.I love the one of the three ducks...one 'ducking' from sight.I've never been on a barge...would love to.The reflections are beautiful, Stewart.
Oh, my, what a wonderful way to while away the day...lucky you. I've often wanted to spend time floating and fishing from a house boat.,as we call them here. Fantastic Stewart.BlessYourHeart
What a lovely place and the duck mom is so cute with her little ducklings !
you can sure see how cold it is on the water, wonderful pics though- as always.
