Header Challenge 26-01-11 = Pipes

Our Dave chose this weeks Header Challenge - "Pipes" - Ive asked our Headbanger Team if poss to post early this week as we Have to take MIL home early thurs morn.

Pipes = give us a great choice of photos for this theme - My Posts no 1 = is the Mighty Organ from a Church we visited some time ago.
This is certainly a Mighty Organ.

My 2nd post pic is from Nottinghams (Gailsmans area) Riverside fair and its the famous Steam Organ, I really love to hear these play.

My 3rd Post pic (Dave will love this one) is - Scottish Bagpipes - I really enjoy this sound too, and love the dances that go with the Bagpipes.

My 4th and last post pic comes from Austria (Tom Fishing Guy has visited here) The local Postman and his friend played at the Hotel we stopped at in Waidring. This is a smoking pipe and he went around to see if some of us had enuf Puff to keep the pipe alight.
Me included - Yup I did have the puff to.lol.

Now - My Header is also from Austria - up the mountain side were these cows and they were sussing (checking) out these pipes, I just had to add one of the cows thoughts of these pipes - Milking Pipes?? poor old Mildred. lol.
I think Lanny will like this one - Its a farming theme.

Please visit the other Headbangers and leave your comments please - you will find the team on my side bar - just underneath my Header.

Also check-out my youtube pipe music - I reckon you will find this most interesting?

Let the Challenge commence -

Hello folks - its time for our Header Challenge again - Lanny-TomF/G-Gailsman-Dave and myself(imac) change our headers each week for a challenge, and the one thats voted the best gets the Gold shield for a week ---- and talking about gold, my 1st pic in my Post is going for Gold - Taken in Florence on the bridge of Gold shops - here is a fitting photo for Lannys theme "Missing" as a tray of Gold is Missing from the shop window.

My 2nd pic for our Challenge is a Rusty old shoe Missing? wonder how long its been here too.(notice its of Gold colour, lol.

My 3rd pic is - this little chappie ran out into the mud with his wellies on and got stuck, his Dad came to rescue him and pulled him out of the mud, but without his wellies? His poor Mum had to go and rescue his wellies for him. Wonder if the wellies were Gold colour - like his Gold-ish socks?.

Bodnant Gardens Post 2

Here we are - still at Bodnant Gardens - as we walk passed the water area and the flowers(another post if you wish)down to the bridge and cross over into the wooded part and follow the stream.
Ah, here are the stepping stones, we will cross here to - as we are on the way to the waterfall
Here's another view of the waterfall, as we stand on the bridge overlooking and d-o-w-n into the swirling water of the fall.

Wales 2

Welcome to Bodnant Gardens - Cick to see more info - Wales - near Conwy.
The most famous Laburnum Arch which is 55 metres long tunnel of pure yellow flower (Late May and Early June) the sight and smell is just wonderful.

Plenty of walks around the gardens and then walk down to the woodland area and follow the stream and cross over the bridges.

Just find the Meconopsis - Blue Himalayan Poppy in bloom too - if you want to photograph this Poppy, you just might have to wait a while to get just the right shot.

Follow the stream further and find the waterfall - do you like a waterfall to look like its movement or or you one that likes to see it sharp in focus.
All in all Bodnant Gardens is a certainly worth a visit - There's something to see whichever season you visit

Do you want to see more of Bodnant Gardens???..

Max Clover

Today Little Max came to visit his Great Aunty Julie and Great Uncle Bulgaria (me-Stewart) with his Mum and Dad.
Max is now 46weeks old. Just look at Max as he comes strolling in.

Max made himself at home and showed us his toys that he had with him.

"Smile at Uncle Bulgaria while he takes our photo" said his Mum.
