Header Challenge 17-08-11-Falling -by Sandy.

Ive heard that Klaus - from Skywatch has passed away.
This is  very sad news, as Klaus was a friend - I was a member of Skywatch in the days of Dot, then Tom Wigley, also Tom Fishing Guy,Sandy and Wren.
I would like to send my sincere thoughts and prayers to His family, friends, and skywatch members.

You Know - its strange I had picked my header for this week and the other day, I was checking my files when I came across another photo, and suddenly knew that this one should be my Header, and thought of Skywatch and Klaus, then the following day I heard the sad news,
Strange forces at work here?

Ok, It was Sandy to choose this week the theme, which was "Falling".
Ive chosen to go with "Falling" Rain.

Enjoy - Listen to the Falling Rain music while you enjoy my post pics.

My Header is After the Falling Rain, the sun comes out.
I hope you enjoy this photo, as its a little different
((no falling pants tho - from my prev post))

My 1st post Look at the Falling Rain watering these wonderful flowers from Norfolk Gardens.

Stay indoors as the rain is Falling  and hitting the window pane.

Just watch the rain Falling  - its chucking it down - raining cats and dogs.

If you are out in the Falling rain - I hope you have your brolly, like these folk did in Florence.

As the Falling rain eases off we can see the odd raindrop hitting the pond and causing ripples.

The Falling rain lands on the water lilies leaves and freshens up the flowers.

After the Falling rain the drips slowly drop from the shed roof into a bucket.
Here's  a Macro shot of one drop with a reflection.

What does the Falling rain do to - it brings the frogs out to enjoy the wet weather.

Well, thats my version of Falling, I hope you enjoyed my Header and post pics.

Just before you go - go visit the other members of our Header Challenge.
You all should know where to find these good friends - on my side bar just --no not under my Header but just under my new feature - just under my Photo shots from Grantham, my home town.
Good Luck folks.

Sad about Klaus. At that time even I participated in SWF.

Neat solutions to the challenge! Though I had expected some shots from a well-known place (to me, that is) ...

These are great pictures for the theme. When I first saw that sea of umbrellas (brollies) I was sure you shot it in England, so I was surprised to read 'Florence'.
Yes, I think forces were at work leading you to choose the header you did.

I was greatly saddened to hear about Klaus. He would have loved your header you know. It's a beauty. In fact he would have loved all these beautiful pictures. RIP Klaus.

A VERY SWEET MEMORY I HAVE OF MY MOM IS WHEN I WAS A CHILD AND IT WOULD RAIN, WE WOULD LIE DOWN ON THE FLOOR IN OUR "LIVING" ROOM, WE HAD LARD WINDOWS THAT WOULD GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND SHE WOULD PUT ANDY WILLIAMS ON OR PERRY COMO AND WE WOULD LISTEN TO HER MUSIC AND WATCH THE RAIN FALL. SHE TAUGHT ME A VERY YOUNG AGE TO APPRECIATE THE BEAUTY OF NATURE. IT ALSO REMINDED HER OR HOLLAND. SHE MISSED THE RAIN AND HOLLAND.

I'm so sorry about Klaus.
I listened to the music, Stewart...beautiful.
Your photos of falling rain (during and after) are spectacular. The first photograph looks like an oil. I enlarged it to see the details. Your photography is indeed an art.

Wow, my friend. Your tribute and then your take on the prompt sure are astounding. All that falling. The best I could do was to fish my soggy camera out of my very soggy pocket and then marvel at the wonders of portable electricity! Great photos, all.

Didn't know Klaus, but my condolences.

Lovely shots of the rain, Stewart - I hope you're still enjoying summer weather, however. And a wonderful header too.

[loved that sunset in your previous post !]

Indeed sad about Klaus - his bird shots are a work of art! And a little eerie to see another post on the 17. Wonderful falling rain shots! I especially like the macro of the blue drop.

Nice rainbow light falling through the trees after the rain.

Sad news about Klaus. I've not Skywatched for ages now, or contributed to the Paintbox Picture site.
Interesting idea on this weeks theme, and a good set of photos once again.

Speaking from the perspective of one who likes to be in the rain, I LOVE these pictures!! They do justice to the beauty of it, and the photos remind us of how refreshing a good rain can be.

So sorry. I somehow missed the announcement about Klaus. I did not know him, but wish to express my deepest condolences to his friends and family.
