I love to look at photos of churches/cathedrals. I have also found myself inclined to change or filter my shots into b/w photos. In "my" day, black and white was all we had, so when "color" film came out, I didn't even want to look at b/w....but now that I'm older and wiser...., :)) I see beauty in b/w that I overlooked for many years. This is a lovely photograph, Stewart.

Your image takes that church out of time and makes it strangely welcoming.

I agree with Sandy, often with B&W transitions of churches the effect is more sinister than welcoming but not in this picture, it really works. Well done. Spot on!
