As for growing old, the wood looks as tho it's lived through some rough 'branches' in it's lifetime...

Hmmm, I feel about as gnarly as this branch but far less rested. Perhaps I'll take a nap today sans the wire perch.

I'm fascinated by what one sees when looking closely at trees and this my friend is a fine example. A little rest sounds nice too.
