To bring photos from my minds eye - to the public through the lens of my Nikon D90 ∧ D80
We usually don't think much of ferns. I think I will have to change my view of that now.
Mother Nature is blessed, these pictures are adorable!Léia
Love the shapes and colours!
Lovely works of art in nature and in your photography :)
So back in the day this nature freak was telling every body what things they could eat that they found in nature. He claimed in print that fiddle head ferns were not only edible but delicious, like poorman's asparagus, the only trick was making sure you removed all the brown fuzz. When we moved here to the farm their was an abundance of fiddle head ferns and not an abundance of cash. So I tried it. It takes a lot of work and time to get all the brown fuzz off. And in spite of all that time and effort the steamed fiddle head ferns still tasted like a mouthful of brown fuzz. That's what your last photo brought up in my mind today. Yum!
Lots of GREEN, Stewart... Great pictures.Betsy
You've shown how beautiful ferns are. I like the way you move in closer with each photo.
Ferns amaze me. I love this time of year when they are busy stretching out in the woods. I love these shots.
I like the ladder effect of the photos, isn't nature great.
Wonderful series of fern shots Mac. Your flowers below are beautiful too.
