Header Challenge 16-03-11 = Retro.

So - we are here again with our Header Challenge and this weeks theme by Gailsman is "Retro" - just to be sure I checked the internet and among the explanations were Vintage. So -

My 1st post pic is a poster I found, now - as some of you may know that one of our Headbangers is Lanny from Victory Farm, so thought I would include this poster asking for volunteers for farm workers during war time. Is it your farm Lanny? lol.

My 2nd post pic is a sign over a shop I found for vintage goods, love the title to this too " Time Dresser"

Some time ago I found this Garage with these old pumps on show on the side, Vintage Price I would say before decimal times too.
Hows your prices on fuel these days, ours around £1.30 a litre, guess most are more than this.

Now - my last post pic is a lttle treat for the men ---and Ladies. Some time ago DW and I visited an Art in Action show, with many stalls and exhibitions.
I saw this young lady dressed in the 40s style, I asked her if I could take a shot or two of her, heres one, but while chatting I discovered that this young lady was a proffesional model and she gave me her web site - so to visit (Kitten-Von-Mews click here) and enjoy your time with Kitten Von Mews. - well thats my post pics for Retro - Vintage.

Well its time to talk about my Header, which by now you know all about it.
A photo of A Lotus 7 - just like the one in the series " The Prisoner" featuring Patrick Magoohan - Now my video clip is the tune and film of the last shots from the series, so click and enjoy.

Please visit the other members of the Headbanger club and leave your comments.

I think you did a great job with the 'Retro' theme. The gas pumps were very interesting, but since I remember "The Prisoner" very well, I'm partial to your header.

Love the Lotus! And your other "retro" images remind me of images I saw as a child.

Mac: Cool post, we had the same ideas for the Retro theme. Great minds go in similar direction my friend.

A fab selection of images there matey. A big fan of the Prisoner since it was shown on Channel 4 in the 1980s. I have a friend who is a fan of burlesque, and so she might know Kitten.

Love the gas pumps, reminds me of my childhood, I remember when my dad got one "modern" pump which now would be very old itself.

If you're drumming up volunteer workers for Vicktory Farm and Gardens, I won't turn them away!
