To bring photos from my minds eye - to the public through the lens of my Nikon D90 ∧ D80
Looks like cold shards of glass. I can't wait until it's all over with. As I type this, there is about 4" of new snow on everything outside my window. In town, it was slushy and messy and overnight, I'll bet it has frozen solid. It is Cold, with a capital L.
Looks like ice has taken over your grass, Stewart... Yipes!!!! Bet that is COLD...Have a great day.Betsy
That fitted very nicely - but I too hope for the green!
Beautiful poem and picture! You are very talented!Léia
Well done. They say hell hath no fury as a woman's wrath. I am thinking winter is a lady. Her aftermath is stunning. Thanks for capturing it.
Surely looks like pieces of glass.
Your poem is as wonderful as your picture. I can hardly wait to see that green clover.
simply breathtaking :)
Love the close close shots. And winter--but winter is trying to blow away here.
It is beautiful to look at....but only to look at.....LOL
Enlarging this is magical! There's amazing detail in nature's work.☼ Sunny
It's difficult to wish for anything else, when it produces such photographs as this beauty!!
In certain spots out in the Market Garden when it gets really cold the ice shoots up out of the ground like a huge city of crystal towers. I think winter is beautiful and he gets an awful bad rap.
Pleeeeaaaaase show green clover next time ! I freeze to an ice block when I look at this picture !
Spring is happening here in eastern NC... finally!!
Wow - OK so I have a hate on for winter right now but you've made it just a little more bearable. GREAT ice shots, Stewart!
