Is that a sun dog (parhelion) in the fourth photo? Ju has good taste. The third (Barrowby) is my fave.

You do have a pretty sky to shoot pictures of.

The handshakes get limper as the day gets longer.

I like the gold sky in number 3, but the golden path leading to the sun in number one is also pretty special.

You know me....(long winded!)...so, here I go!!
Your first photo is beautiful...and what catches my eye when I enlarge it is the tide rolling in...gently rolling...and so pretty, Stewart.
The second photo: I LOVE those clouds (and I looked waaaay in the background, and I promise, I think I see the smokestacks from the paper mill near my home...so close and yet sooo far away! :)) )
The third photo: you have done a wonderful job of silhouetting those trees in that sky...lovely....very!
And the last photograph... How could I not look at those clouds that appear as though they have been brushed across the sky!!
They are all so pretty, Stewart.
I would choose the first one because of the gentleness and beauty.
Your header is touching. I have been absent for a while, so I hope that you will allow me to be comment a little longer this evening.
What a tribute to those who have sacrificed for the freedom of all... Very touching, Stewart.
Warm smiles from Jackie

The last one, Stewart, has angels everywhere. It is, by far, my favorite, with an edge of a sundog. BlessYourHeart

It's difficult to pick a favorite, they're all beautiful, but if I must...I would say the second one.

Lovely to see these skies, all we have had lately is grey, grey and more grey skies.

Thanks for posting all those lovely skies. I think skies offer endless possibilities for photographers, provided they are capable of thinking outside the box - and you have that gift! :-)
