Sounds exciting. Not sure whether I will be up in time, or we are in a good enough spot to see it though.

Early enough in our time zone that we would be able to stay awake for it and the viewing is supposed to be good here if only....

But the clouds!!!! 300 years and we have clouds!

Ooooh....a red moon! I hope that it will be a beautiful sight for those that are awake. (Does that tell you that Jackie won't be seeing it.. :))) )
Lovely photograph...and well done in black and white. You always do such a great job, Imac.
Smiles,

Well Bet and I (Dirt deemed us nutty) at least can say we stayed up for the eclipse here. Not much to see save for the typical PNW method of total lunar or solar eclipse - eclipse by rain and cloud! We at least caught the beginning of it.

Nice piccy for Solstice :o)
The moon was huge in St. Ives. It shone down on the little pixie as she flew to the post office. Little Cornish pixie also peeped into the warm little houses and was amazed at the beautiful christmas trees dancing with fairy lights :o)

I hope you and your DH have a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year

Love from the cornish pixiekins x
