High Tide & rough seas.

Our first high tide in our cottage, produced some great sprays, as the rough sea sent some huge waves crashing over the railings, you can see some folk enjoying the spray.

Just look at this piccy, thank goodness the sprays had a peek through - so we copuld see the Harbour and its beach.
A real neat capture eh??.

Later on as the tide turned and startting to go out, but still crashing waves coming over the railings.
This piccy was taken from our cottage window.

This is great. I like the action captured in the first shot. The white spray and it's contrast with the darker water is neat, too.

Wow! These are great pictures. I especially like the second one, with the view of the beach through the spray.

I hope you didn't get your camera wet taking these. Certainly some power in those waves.

Great action shots of the waves! And a delightful spot for a vacation. Did you meet the man with seven wives and all those cats?

Glad to see you're back, mac ! Have missed some of those witty captions and comments.

Am catching up on your last couple of posts. Great wave action shots here - didn't look like a beach kinda day ;-)

I can empathize with sorting the photos - I took ~ 2,200 in Rhodes and am still working on them :)

Great shot with the peak through the spray. Beauty beyond the power of water. If you were looking for action you certainly got it!

Looks like you had bad weather to start with (like us last week in Jersey) but it brightened up - free bus ride to LE - great stuff - I hear that JoG is alas rather grotty these days with the hotel there abandoned. LE seems to have fared better though I suspect it was a bit tacky.
